Many might not know, but from now and then our internet service providers get delays in DNS propagation/DNS caching.

For website owners, this becomes really frustrating especially when they’ve just got a new hosting account or just migrated to a different server.

While there are many methods to bypass this issue, one handy solution is doing a Flush DNS on your computer.

For Windows all you have to do is open your Command Prompt. You can do this by simply entering “cmd” on your taskbar Search tool. You can also find that in Accessories on Windows 7.

Now once it is open, you type in, “ipconfig flushdns” without the quotes. Do take note of the spaces. Enter it multiple times and you might finally see it working.

flushdns
